The sea is a vital part of the Moomin universe. 2020 marks the 75-year anniversary of Tove Jansson publishing her first Moomin novel. To celebrate this Moomin Characters Ltd is launching the campaign #OURSEA, to save the Baltic Sea and its heritage for future generations.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the condition of the Baltic Sea and raise one million euros to fund the John Nurminen Foundation’s work to save the Baltic Sea and its vibrant culture.
